Why Bitcoin?

Welcome to the page!

I’m very glad to have you here.

Here’s a little about me, and why I’m here.

I grew up a very small town in rural Manitoba.
I worked many different jobs as a teenager including shagging range balls at the golf course, delivering pizzas for Pizza Hut, selling suits at Moore’s, and even worked for the federal government collecting data for the census surveys. LOL.
After two years at college, two years at university, and two years in the Chartered Professional Accounting program, the wall was full of frames and I was ready to take on the world.

Then the “great pandemic of 2020” happened. And EVERYTHING changed. I started sniffing around and asking questions. Like, what is money? How is money created? What is our money backed by? And why does everything cost so much now?

This will piss some university professors off but that’s okay. Sometimes the truth hurts. But I learned more on my own – through YouTube and other online educational platforms – than I did in school. And I minored in ECONOMICS!
The problem is, once you discover how the legacy system works, you can’t unsee it. And like many others who came before me, I decided that I didn’t want to contribute my time and energy into that old system. But instead, start building in the new one. The new system that’s built on fairness and honesty instead of lies and manipulation.

After learning some very tough lessons as I got into the world of “cryptocurrency,” I realized there was a MASSIVE need for trustworthy sources and someone to walk you through the first steps. I also realized that the whole “crypto” industry was a scam and bitcoin was the only one worth holding. Bitcoin is unlike any other asset in history.

When I first got into “crypto,” I invested $500 USD on a private membership to a video tutorial library. This price tag did not include any 1-on-1 help and I probably could have found the majority of this information on my own.
But would I do it again? Absolutely.
I know how hard it can be to find a trustworthy and knowledgeable source online. It’s easy to find videos online, but the problem is knowing what order to do it and knowing who you can trust.

And that’s exactly why I created the Bitcoin Journey and started the YouTube channel. And although the majority of this information is catered toward new bitcoiners, there are some advanced videos available, and there’s even plans to create our own private community. Because at the end of the day, we’re all going through this together.

We are so lucky to be alive at this time in history.
